Megawatts Without the Wait: Voltra Showcases Tritium's GRID-FLEX at RE+ 2026

Voltra hosts a full 800 kW GRID-FLEX cabinet in its booth as the power layer of a software-managed site, alongside the launch of Voltra Studio and Energy Insights.

Lebanon, TN – October 20, 2026 – Voltra will showcase Tritium Power Solutions' GRID-FLEX at RE+ 2026, North America's largest clean energy event, at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 17 to 19. Tritium's partner Voltra is hosting a full-scale 800 kW GRID-FLEX cabinet in its booth, C7082, where visitors can see Tritium's megawatt-scale 800 VDC power hardware and the software that manages it working as one system.

RE+ gathers the people building North America's power infrastructure, from solar, storage and grid developers to utilities, EPCs and the teams delivering power for AI data centers. They share one problem: more than 2,000 GW of generation and storage capacity is waiting to connect to US grids, according to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's 2026 Queued Up report, and projects cannot wait years for a utility upgrade.

Tritium built GRID-FLEX for exactly that. It is a factory-built, bi-directional 800 VDC power platform, adding capacity in modular blocks from 400 kW to 3.2 MW and scaling up to 9.6 MW. Solar, batteries, generators and the utility grid all land on a single 800 VDC bus, the same architecture AI data centers are adopting for their racks. Four-quadrant operation lets a site push power to the grid, pull it in or supply reactive power on command, so backup power can earn through grid services and demand response.

Voltra is the software layer that makes that control useful. Its platform connects hardware from any vendor or protocol into one interface and optimizes every device, system, and site together. With GRID-FLEX as the specified power platform, a developer can plan and size a site in Voltra Studio, lay out the GRID-FLEX blocks, and then monitor, dispatch and monetize the finished site from the same platform.

Together, Tritium and Voltra are advancing the 800 VDC ecosystem, enabling seamless integration of solar, storage, and grid assets through a shared commitment to next-generation energy infrastructure.

"The people who build power infrastructure are all in one room at RE+, and their biggest problem is the one GRID-FLEX solves: getting megawatts online when the grid can't keep up," said Arcady Sosinov, CEO of Tritium Power Solutions. "We are grateful to Voltra for giving GRID-FLEX a home in their booth. Visitors will see real hardware as part of a complete, software-managed system, which is how our customers will actually deploy it."

"Software is only as valuable as the hardware it can control, and GRID-FLEX is bi-directional, four-quadrant hardware at megawatt scale," said Alexander Stratmoen, CEO and co-founder of Voltra. "Hosting it in our booth lets us show a site go from first design in Studio through to daily operation and revenue."

What Visitors Will See at the Booth

The cabinet on display is a production unit built at Tritium's 250,000 sq ft plant in Tennessee, backed by more than 21,000 power conversion assets and 3 GW deployed across 51 countries. Visitors to the Voltra booth will see:

  • Capacity when the utility says years. Modular GRID-FLEX blocks from 400 kW to 3.2 MW that bring megawatts online without waiting on a single large grid upgrade.
  • One 800 VDC bus for generation, storage and load. Solar, batteries, gensets and grid on a native 800 VDC bus, with the GRID-FLEX Link cabinet connecting batteries and other DC assets with no second inverter.
  • Backup power that pays for itself. Bi-directional, four-quadrant conversion plus Voltra's coordination, turning on-site power into grid services revenue. 98.5% peak efficiency, N+2 redundancy, IP65, -35°C to +55°C.
  • Voltra Studio and Energy Insights. Launching at RE+. Studio lets developers size a site, run incentive calculations and lay out GRID-FLEX blocks before anything ships; Energy Insights tracks power use across sites to support on-site generation and flexible capacity deals.
